Tito was found all by himself by a father & daughter hiking out in the local Balcones Refuge walking trail. He managed to survive at least one night in this remote area with predators like coyotes. We are looking for a expierenced dog home, Tito has zero recall and when he first arrived had no clue what a collar or leash was. He is learning though. We are looking for the following for a home!
Adoption requirements:
- Vet history of past & present pets being spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and dogs being on heartworm preventation.
- A secure fenced yard. Tito is not fond of a leash, so apartments will not be a good option currently.He must stay on a leash even in a fenced yard he has very little recall skills.Hebis learning though.
- Door dasher so a home with low foot traffic.
- Kids over 12 years of age. Tito is a busy guy wanting to explore. He is learning to be a lap dog & being held but is not quite there yet.
- Must be comfortable with crate training.
